Bade Acche Lagte Hain 17th June 2025 Written Update: Fake Husband Alert. Today in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain: A Stranger, A Wallet, And A Twist of Fate
The drama in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain just hit a refreshingly wholesome gear, weaving in mystery, generosity, and a sprinkle of classic romcom charm.
A Missing Kid, A Mysterious Savior
Bhagyashree’s day takes a sharp turn when she realizes Kaddu is missing. Panic sets in. The search begins — every mother’s nightmare playing out in real time — until relief crashes in.
She spots Kaddu in the arms of a stranger.
Not a villain. A soft-spoken man named Rishabh, who not only keeps the child safe but, in the next breath, hands his wallet to a beggar — without fanfare, without drama. Just quiet kindness.
Bhagyashree is taken aback. Before she can thank him properly, the lights go out, swallowing his face in darkness.
A literal mystery man.
Karma Does Its Thing
Inspired by Rishabh’s random act of goodness, Bhagyashree decides to pass it on. She calls Sunny to deliver good news — his friend is hired. One small decision, one big heart.
And in a brilliant full-circle twist? Sunny calls Rishabh to share the news.
Yes. The same Rishabh.
The stranger in the dark just got pulled into her world a little closer.
A Sweet Ending With a Nostalgic Ring
The episode doesn’t stop at a good twist. Bhagyashree gets a call from her father after what feels like forever. The happiness in her voice says it all — bridges are being rebuilt, and hearts are softening.
But wait — there’s more.
Fake Husband Alert!
Bhagyashree’s father wants her and her husband to attend a wedding together.
Small hiccup: she doesn’t have a husband.
Big solution? Asking the same mysterious Rishabh to pretend to be one.
Oh yes — we’re heading straight into fake marriage territory, where things are bound to get complicated, cute, and possibly chaotic.

“Bhagyashree and the Curious Case of the Almost-Groom”
Plot twists, emotional breakdowns, accidental proposals—this episode had it all. Let’s unpack the drama, shall we?
The episode opens on an emotional note as Bhagyashree receives a call from her long-lost father, who suddenly remembered he had a daughter. He announces that cousin Meenakshi’s wedding is finally happening—because, you know, someone in the family had to make traditional love work—and invites Bhagyashree and her (nonexistent) husband. Cue awkward silence. It’s been years since they’ve met, and Papa dear gets choked up mid-sentence. Either he’s overcome with emotions or just realizing how badly the family reunion is about to go.
Mama takes the phone from him and delivers the classic emotional blackmail combo: “It’s been so long, are you happy beta?” and the killer “We’ll see you soon.” Hang up. Just like that. Zero concern about the fact that Bhagyashree is silently breaking down on the other end, reliving every wrong turn she took in the name of love.
Flashback time: Bhagyashree spirals into regret, remembering how she torpedoed her family’s wishes, dodged the family-approved groom, and went full rebel mode. The price? Being ghosted by her own bloodline for five years. Emotional damage: activated.
Back to reality (which is no less dramatic), the technician fixing something at her place gets spooked by Kaddu—yes, the baby—and demands extra cash like he just witnessed a horror film. Bhagyashree can’t deal with this chaos, but wait—it gets worse. Enter Secretary Chadda, the office creep who thinks “no” is just a suggestion. He shoos away the technician, then proceeds to be a walking HR violation by making a move on Bhagyashree. She shuts him down like a boss, threatens to report him, and rushes to console Kaddu who’s started crying (same, Kaddu. Same).
But the snake doesn’t slither away quietly. Oh no. Chadda sneakily uses Bhagyashree’s phone to send himself a message, obviously to create some sleazy narrative later. Congratulations, Chadda, you’ve just earned yourself a ticket to the “Worst Human of the Year” award.
Meanwhile, Rishabh arrives at the office like a man on a mission, only to be stopped by the security guard who treats the ID policy like it’s guarding nuclear codes. Inside, Bhagyashree vents to Nitya about Chadda’s antics and declares she’s done with love. Burnt out. Over it. Nitya, being the eternal optimist (and chaos enabler), says love happens when you least expect it—cue Bhagyashree’s dupatta flying off dramatically and smacking Rishabh right in the face. Bollywood timing: 100/100.
Back at the grind, Nitya juggles office work while giving her husband Naveen step-by-step instructions on feeding their kids. Queen of multitasking. Rishabh’s trying to contact Sunny, but the guy’s busy being unreachable. He eventually sweet-talks the guard and sneaks into the office. Meanwhile, Nitya raises the million-dollar question: “How will you explain your imaginary husband to your very real parents?” Bhagyashree? Still brainstorming.
In the next scene, Bhagyashree gives her team a healthy dose of “Do better” energy. She tells them their recent work is meh at best and that the Mumbai branch is ready to snatch the project from under their noses if they don’t level up. Motivation through fear—classic.
Cut to Chadda, who’s now at the gym flexing not just his biceps but also his toxic masculinity. He brags to his equally questionable gym bros that Bhagyashree sent him “those kinds of messages.” Because if you’re going to lie, might as well make it scandalous, right? He even shows them her messages (the ones he sneakily sent himself). The peanut gallery is, of course, eating it up and whispering judgment like they’ve got nothing better to do.
Back in sanity land, Nitya corners Bhagyashree with a “solution.” Her master plan? Get married. Again. Bhagyashree’s face says it all—pure horror. She refuses, claiming her heart’s locked in a vault forever. But Nitya, ever the strategist, tells her to think of it as a business deal. No feelings. Just appearances. The logic? Her parents think she’s been married for five years. If they find out her “husband” was a figment of imagination with commitment issues, their hearts will shatter. Dramatic much? Yes. Effective? Also yes.
Nitya pulls in a marriage broker named Reena and instructs Bhagyashree to hide her career success. Because apparently, some men are still intimidated by capable women in 2025. Bhagyashree, reluctantly, agrees to meet the mystery suitor.
Elsewhere, Rishabh finally finds Sunny who tasks him with getting Bhagyashree’s signature on an appointment letter. The catch? No signature, no salary. Because what’s a good office subplot without some unpaid labor threats?
And then, the universe does its thing.
Bhagyashree is sitting at a cafe, waiting to meet the “groom,” mentally preparing her Oscar-winning fake marriage act. In walks Rishabh. She mistakes him for the suitor and launches into a heartfelt speech: she doesn’t want to marry, but she’ll do it for her parents. Does he have any terms or conditions? Rishabh’s like, “Nah, I’m chill.” When he asks about her job, she downplays it like a pro. “Just a small-time employee,” she says humbly. Rishabh is touched.
But plot twist! He pulls out the document and asks for her signature. Realization dawns. He’s not the groom—he’s just Sunny’s colleague trying to get his paycheck. Facepalm moment of the year. She signs the papers, probably wishing the floor would swallow her whole.
Before leaving, Rishabh drops a truth bomb: “Don’t ever think you need to settle just to get married.” Bhagyashree is left stunned, possibly impressed. A man with sense? In this economy?
Episode ends.
Precap: Rishabh is seen praying for Bhagyashree’s happiness (swoon alert). Meanwhile, Bhagyashree unleashes her inner warrior and slaps Chadda for spreading lies. Finally, some justice served hot.
