Aami Dakini 29th July 2025 Written Update: Dakini’s Grip Tightens, Ayaan Gets Spooked, Meera Doubts, and D.D. Plots. The tale takes a sharper twist as the murky truth surrounding D.D. begins to reek of something darker than just lies—possibly burnt ash and black magic.
Dinner Plans & Shady Excuses
The episode kicks off innocently enough. Ayaan, ever the well-mannered lad, asks Mala about her brother Raj who ghosted the dinner invite. Mala, clearly unaware of the brewing storm, says Raj is busy studying. Ayaan being the generous soul decides to personally serve Raj dinner. Of course, Meera tags along, because dinner at this creepy haveli is never just about food—it’s an investigation with side dishes.
Meera suggests they should also go invite the Kaalkarni family for dinner. Ayaan, showing rare common sense, tells her to call them. But no one’s picking up. So off they go, in true horror-movie fashion, to knock on a door that clearly shouldn’t be knocked on. Enter D.D. Kaalkarni—mister I’m-always-creepy-and-suspicious—who blocks their way with a cool lie. His kids are “asleep” and apparently already fed. How thoughtful.
But wait—Ayaan doesn’t recall seeing Kaalkarni step out to get food. D.D. smirks and says he used the back gate. Classic villain excuse. Ayaan’s eyes narrow. Meera’s don’t—because she’s still defending this man like he’s her PhD guide.
Raj the Vanishing Boy
Later, Ayaan heads to Raj’s room to deliver food. But surprise. Raj appears looking like a possessed scarecrow. His strange behavior makes Ayaan drop the food tray. Meera rushes in, only to see no one. Raj vanished like all logic in this household. Meera gives Ayaan the “maybe sleep more” look. But soon both of them spot Raj with Kaalkarni again—except poof, he vanishes again.
Kaalkarni gives another Oscar-worthy lie—Raj went home to study. Of course he did. Because all possessed boys love math at midnight.
Raj’s Bicycle & Mala’s Blackout
Meera, now slightly curious (read: finally suspicious), visits Raj’s house. Raj’s sister tells her he’s at a friend’s place. But Meera spots his bicycle parked right outside. Sherlock mode activated.
Meanwhile, Raj (or the ghost version of him) demands Mala go with him. She questions him, but before the conversation can go anywhere useful, here comes Kaalkarni again—with a good ol’ black magic spell. He hypnotizes Mala with all the drama of a soap villain performing yoga.
Meera Switches Sides & Ayaan Steps in It
After returning, Meera admits Ayaan might’ve been right. She’s ready to support him—until he casually mentions that he entered the room where the Dakini’s ashes are stored. Cue dramatic music. Meera flips. Ayaan apologizes, but the damage is done.
Meanwhile, Kaalkarni’s wife regains her senses. He panics. There’s a knock on the door. Suspense builds.
Awkward Interruptions & Suspicious Powder
Ayaan and Meera barge in—only to catch Kaalkarni and his wife in what can only be described as an intense moment. Meera, mortified, quickly apologizes. She tries making small talk with the wife while Ayaan distracts Kaalkarni—and sneakily sprinkles some powder to detect dark energy. What is this, Scooby Doo meets Tantra?
Kaalkarni sees through their plan and mocks them in his head. Ayaan’s caught red-handed—quite literally, and both he and Meera are tongue-tied when Kaalkarni confronts them about their strange behavior.
Precap Tease: Jungle Mein Jadoo
In the upcoming episode, Ayaan and Meera are trapped in the jungle by villagers who are clearly under Kaalkarni’s spell. A dramatic showdown is inevitable, and Ayaan better pack something stronger than powder next time.
Review: Black Magic with a Side of Buffoonery
The episode does a decent job of building tension, though sometimes at the cost of logic. Ayaan remains the only character who sees red flags everywhere—which, frankly, is refreshing. Meera flip-flops between being the rational one and the oblivious cheerleader for Kaalkarni. It’s time she picks a side already.
Kaalkarni, as usual, serves villain realness—with a calm tone, eerie stares, and enough secrets to start a cult. Raj’s sudden appearances and disappearances are spooky, though slightly repetitive. The whole “bicycle outside but no boy inside” trick? Still effective.
The strongest part of the episode is the slow unraveling of the mystery. There’s an undertone of real fear—especially when Mala gets hypnotized—and a sense of helplessness that makes you want to shake every character into action.
But dear Ayaan, next time don’t spill the secret about entering the ashes room. It’s like walking into Dracula’s lair and tweeting about it.
