Mannat 12th August 2025 Written Update – Emotional Battles, Brewing Rivalries & A Case of Selective Justice. The episode opens on a heavy note as Mannat pours her heart out to Vikrant. She confesses that Anirudh played a huge role in proving her innocence — something she valued deeply because she thought she’d finally found a father-like figure who truly cared for her. But today, that sense of belonging is shattered. She’s learned she’s the daughter of a criminal, and the shame is eating her alive. The weight of this revelation makes her question her own worth, even though it’s clear to anyone with sense that bloodline doesn’t define character.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the drama, Anirudh is having his own confrontation with Varun. The tension snaps when Anirudh slaps Varun, declaring that he has never molested anyone and wouldn’t stoop so low, even in a drunken state. He makes it clear he has no intention of letting Aishwarya win whatever mind games she’s playing. Varun, perhaps realizing he’s overstepped, apologizes for the misunderstanding and shifts the conversation to whether Anirudh has issues with the police. He warns him that Aishwarya is taking advantage of the situation. Anirudh’s response? He’d rather die than face defeat — a statement that’s dramatic enough to belong in bold letters on a promo poster.
Back with Mannat, she recounts to Vikrant the entire saga of what went down in jail — how Anirudh helped her get out, but only because he wanted revenge on Aishwarya. She’s horrified to think that behind his helping hand was a hidden agenda. Aishwarya swoops in to spin her own narrative. She tells Mannat it wasn’t her fault, painting Anirudh as the cunning mastermind who used the situation to his advantage. Aishwarya takes a strangely soft tone, praising Mannat as a good person and even apologizing for not being able to be a mother to her. Whether this is genuine or just more manipulation is up for debate, but the emotional guilt trip is strong.
Vikrant, ever the peacemaker, tells both women not to blame themselves for any of this. He insists it’s not their fault and shifts the topic to something lighter — the upcoming Janmashtami Pooja. He tries to brighten Mannat’s mood, and it works momentarily, as she smiles at him. Aishwarya, sensing the emotional bond forming, pretends to support Mannat, but Mallika, standing in the shadows, burns with jealousy.
Later, Neetu is surprised when Deepak reveals he’s already set up all the arrangements for the Pooja. He credits Mannat for giving him the instructions earlier. Mallika chimes in with a nasty observation — Vikrant asked Mannat to prepare the prasad, which means she’s already winning hearts in the household. Mallika’s insecurities hit overdrive as she spins a conspiracy theory: Vikrant will divorce her and marry Mannat, who will then rule the entire house. For Mallika, it’s not just about losing Vikrant — it’s also about losing Neetu’s loyalty. She dramatically frames it as a choice: Neetu must decide between keeping Mallika or welcoming “that goon’s daughter.”
Roni steps in with a reminder that Mallika is only free and not rotting in jail because of Mannat. He warns her not to forget that fact. He also admits he once went against Vikrant and made a mistake — one he won’t repeat. Neetu, however, is unmoved. In her mind, there’s no way she’s allowing “that illegitimate daughter” to marry her son, no matter what anyone else says.
On the other side of the house, Aishwarya approaches Mallika to talk about their growing distance. Mallika accuses Aishwarya of not caring for her anymore. Aishwarya insists Mallika is the only person she’s ever loved wholeheartedly, but Mallika isn’t buying it. She fires back that if Aishwarya really loved her, she’d have stopped Mannat from getting close to Vikrant. Mallika claims Vikrant has already chosen Mannat over her, while Aishwarya insists he hasn’t. The back-and-forth quickly turns into another war of words.
The tension reaches its peak when Mannat herself steps in, telling Mallika she doesn’t owe her any explanations. Vikrant arrives mid-drama and makes an unexpected announcement — Aishwarya needs justice, and so does Mannat. His solution? Aishwarya should file a police case against Anirudh. If she does, Anirudh could end up in jail.
But Aishwarya, who has been pushing the narrative of being wronged, suddenly changes her tune. She refuses to file a complaint, citing her reputation. She fears the media will grab hold of the story and ruin her public image. It’s a classic case of wanting revenge but not wanting the messy paperwork that comes with it. Vikrant, undeterred, tries to motivate her, but Aishwarya shifts gears into emotional blackmail, tugging at everyone’s sympathies. Shruthi takes Aishwarya’s side, adding more fuel to the already blazing household drama.
Episode ends.
Mannat 12th August 2025 Written Update Review
This episode was a buffet of emotional manipulation, rivalries, and hypocrisy. At its core, the Mannat–Vikrant–Mallika triangle continues to intensify, with Aishwarya playing the dangerous role of the double-faced adviser. Her “You’re such a good person” to Mannat felt less like genuine support and more like the kind of kindness you give before pulling the rug out from under someone.
Anirudh’s slap to Varun was a satisfying moment of raw energy, especially with him standing firm on his principles. His “I’d rather die than lose” line, though, was almost comically melodramatic — the kind of statement TV heroes drop right before a massive plot twist.
Mallika’s paranoia was turned up to eleven today. Every look Mannat exchanged with Vikrant was interpreted as part of a grand takeover plan. The fact that she’s convinced Vikrant will divorce her any second shows she’s either insecure for good reason or playing a longer game herself. Neetu siding with Mallika against Mannat adds an interesting layer — she’s playing the family gatekeeper role with all the subtlety of a hammer.
The subplot of Aishwarya refusing to file a complaint against Anirudh despite all her earlier outrage was peak hypocrisy. She’s fine throwing accusations around in private but isn’t willing to stand by them when it means risking her public image. Shruthi siding with her just piles onto the “let’s isolate Mannat” campaign.
Overall, the episode did a solid job of setting up future conflicts. The Janmashtami Pooja is clearly going to be more than a religious event — it’s going to be a political battleground in sarees. The lines between friend, foe, and fake ally are blurring fast, and that’s exactly the kind of tangled drama that will keep viewers hooked.
