Jhanak 28th September 2025 Written Update: Dadabhai Stands By Jhanak, Aditi’s Insecurities Rise. The episode begins with Neelu interrogating Aditi about Jhanak’s whereabouts. She asks if Jhanak has already left for Simulboni. Aditi, clearly irritated, mutters that Dadabhai won. This confuses Abhimanyu, who can’t quite understand what happened with Dadabhai. Payal, ever the observer, comments that this decision will only deepen the cracks between Aditi and Rishi. Aditi defends herself, saying that Rishi too wanted this outcome. But Rishi steps forward, cutting through the noise, declaring he acted on what he felt was right.
The house, he says, feels more like a courtroom than a home. He challenges the others, asking why they are overreacting. Neelu wastes no time reminding Rishi that he is a married man and his priority should be his wife and marriage. She questions his constant concern for Jhanak. Rishi defends himself, saying he isn’t doing anything wrong and pleads with them to not stop him from helping Jhanak, even if they don’t wish to support him.
Just then, the house door opens and in walks Jhanak, accompanied by Dadabhai and Putul. The atmosphere immediately shifts. Tanushri, dripping with sarcasm, announces that “the Maharani has arrived.” Putul, fearless as always, shoots back, saying that this is Dadabhai’s house and he has every right to bring whomever he pleases. Aditi fumes at this intrusion. She says Dadabhai’s decision is making everyone uncomfortable. Yet Dadabhai, unshaken, states that it is indeed his house, and if Aditi feels so uneasy, she is free to leave. His words sting. Aditi retorts bitterly that Dadabhai would hardly care if she left. Shurjeet steps in, trying to calm things, urging Aditi not to take Dadabhai’s blunt words so seriously. He reassures her that she need not leave the house for an outsider.
But Jhanak feels the growing tension keenly. She turns to Dadabhai and says this is exactly why she never wanted to come. Aditi twists the knife further, accusing Jhanak of insulting Aniruddh by calling him “father.” Jhanak fires back, warning her not to speak to her in such a demeaning way. This only escalates things. Neelu jumps in, warning Jhanak to hold her tongue. She harshly claims that Jhanak has no self-respect, otherwise she would never have agreed to stay there. She questions how Jhanak dares to speak rudely to Aditi. Tanushri, eager to escalate the drama, blames Dadabhai for the mess, saying all this conflict exists only because he brought Jhanak home. Putul quickly defends Jhanak, promising to stand by her and take care of her.
The tension spirals as Aditi lashes out at Putul, accusing her of failing to safeguard her own marriage and now trying to destroy hers with Rishi. Putul calmly counters, asking why Aditi doesn’t trust her own relationship. She questions when Aditi became this insecure. She says Aditi knows nothing about her struggles, nor her life. Dadabhai, standing firm, declares that his daughter has every right to stay in her father’s house. Abhimanyu objects, saying Dadabhai made a mistake by bringing Jhanak back. Indumati issues her own warning to Jhanak — to stay within limits. She orders Jhanak to study and then leave for Simulboni after her exams.
Tanushri, never one to miss an opportunity to humiliate, says that if Jhanak is to stay, then she must do household chores and live like a maid. Rishi immediately steps in, outraged, asking how she can even suggest such a thing. Dadabhai too raises his voice, declaring that Jhanak will never be treated as a maid under his roof. Still, Aditi grows restless. She announces she will stay in her father’s house for as long as Jhanak is here, making her opposition clear. Rishi, unimpressed by her stance, sarcastically asks if this is a competition. Shurjeet advises Aditi to stop giving Jhanak unnecessary importance. But Aditi bursts out, declaring that Rishi and Jhanak’s marriage is what haunts her. Jhanak replies firmly that the so-called marriage was forced, signed on papers, and has no real sanctity. She warns Aditi that today she may feel proud of her father, but someday, when the truth comes out, that pride will turn to shame.
On the other side of town, Bablu confronts Aniruddh. He asks why Aniruddh did not bring his daughter along. Aniruddh coldly states that Jhanak is not his daughter. Bablu breaks down, weeping that Aniruddh has changed so much that his upbringing and values seem lost. Aniruddh tries to explain, saying he understands Bablu’s emotions but he cannot fulfill his wish.
Arshi intervenes, siding with Aniruddh. She asks why Aniruddh should bring Jhanak there at all. Aniruddh cuts her short, warning her to stop the argument. But Arshi presses on, questioning Jhanak’s right to stay in their house. Bablu steps in passionately, saying Jhanak is the living symbol of Aniruddh and Nutan’s love, and it is shameful that Aniruddh has forgotten his responsibility toward her. Aniruddh defends himself, saying it isn’t like that. Bablu walks inside in tears. Arshi, still probing, asks Aniruddh why Bablu claimed Jhanak was his daughter. Aniruddh brushes her off, saying he has no time for such questions. Arshi changes tack, asking if Jhanak went to Simulboni. Aniruddh tells her that Dadabhai took Jhanak with him. This only infuriates Arshi more. She asks why he didn’t stop Dadabhai and vows she will never let Jhanak ruin Aditi’s life. Aniruddh dismisses her fears, assuring her Jhanak will not cause harm.
Determined, Arshi calls Dadabhai directly. She confronts him, demanding to know why he took Jhanak home. Dadabhai calmly tells her that Jhanak is like his daughter and he doesn’t owe anyone an explanation for why his daughter stays with him. Arshi tries to reason, saying Aditi cannot tolerate Jhanak’s presence. Dadabhai refuses to budge. He insists Jhanak is a good-hearted girl, and he is simply helping her achieve her dreams. Arshi bitterly warns that Jhanak will destroy his family. Dadabhai firmly states he knows Jhanak well enough and hangs up the call.
The next morning, Indumati orders Jhanak to clean the kitchen. Putul protests, worried about Jhanak’s health, but Jhanak herself insists that she doesn’t want to eat “free food” without working. Tanushri interjects slyly, saying no one is asking Jhanak to do all the chores, but she should contribute. Indumati cuts Putul short, telling her not to interfere. Since Jhanak agreed to work, she should let her. Jhanak quietly nods, preparing herself for the struggle ahead.
The episode ends here.
Precap: Aditi scolds Jhanak for entering a room without knocking. Arshi hatches a plan to bring Jhanak to her house and degrade her into a maid.
Jhanak 28th September 2025 Written Update Review
This episode of Jhanak was intense, layered, and emotionally charged — a perfect mix of family politics, generational conflicts, and deep-rooted insecurities. The writers skillfully highlighted the central conflict: Jhanak as the unwanted presence whose very existence threatens Aditi’s sense of security and Arshi’s vision of control.
Dadabhai shines as the strongest pillar of support for Jhanak. His unwavering stand that she is his daughter and will live under his roof is both touching and powerful. Every scene with him elevates the story, because he is the only one willing to go against the tide to protect her.
On the flip side, Aditi’s insecurities steal much of the screen time. Her marriage to Rishi seems less about love and more about fighting shadows. The way she repeatedly taunts Jhanak, painting her as a threat, reveals her fragile sense of self. Her dialogue about Rishi and Jhanak’s marriage was particularly striking, exposing just how deeply it eats at her.
Rishi’s role feels caught between defense and helplessness. His support for Jhanak is genuine, but his inability to firmly shut down the baseless accusations weakens his presence. Jhanak herself comes across as bold yet dignified — she doesn’t bow down to insults but also doesn’t cross lines unnecessarily.
The Bablu-Aniruddh confrontation added emotional weight. Bablu’s outburst about Jhanak being the symbol of Aniruddh and Nutan’s love carried raw intensity. It tugged at the emotional roots of the story, contrasting beautifully with the petty household politics happening elsewhere.
What really stood out was the balance of dignity and humiliation. While characters like Aditi, Tanushri, and Neelu resorted to insults and labels, Jhanak and Putul responded with resilience. This tug-of-war between respect and ridicule keeps the narrative alive.
The precap promises more fireworks, with Arshi plotting to degrade Jhanak further. If Dadabhai continues to shield her, the upcoming episodes may turn into a bigger battleground — loyalty to family versus loyalty to truth.
Verdict: A gripping episode filled with high drama, emotional confrontations, and raw insecurities. Dadabhai’s strength and Jhanak’s quiet resilience make it worth watching, while Aditi’s insecurities and Arshi’s schemes ensure the conflict will only deepen.
