Dooriyan Written Update Episode 10 – Eisha Singh | Samarth Jurel | Randeep Rai | Kaveri Priyam. Dooriyan 6th October 2025 Written Update: Varsha, Sooraj, and the Threads of Distance.

The episode opens on a homely note. In Mirchaiya, Varsha’s mother is seen stirring a pot of khichdi, the comforting aroma filling the small kitchen. The phone rings, and her face instantly lights up — it’s Varsha. “Hello, mother,” Varsha greets warmly. Her mother replies with affection, asking what she ate for dinner. Varsha, a little distracted, says she had gone to a colleague’s birthday celebration and just returned after eating there. The curiosity in her mother’s voice rises, “Then why did you make khichdi, who’s unwell?” The mother laughs softly and admits that her husband’s stomach was upset, so she thought a light meal would help everyone. But Harsha, the younger daughter, objected — why should everyone eat khichdi because of one person?

With maternal indulgence, she adds, “So, I made paneer, jeera pulao, and your favorite almond halwa.” Varsha smiles on the call, teasing that her mother has spoiled Harsha and turned her into a foodie. Her mother’s tone softens again, asking if Varsha is managing fine in Lucknow. Varsha assures her that everything is wonderful — the office, the hostel, the city — and shares the good news of her big bonus, which helped her repay half her loan. Her mother beams with pride, thanking Lord Krishna for blessing her daughter. Then Varsha, in her practical tone, requests that Harsha’s admission form and certificates be sent to her. She explains her company’s employee scheme — it can sponsor half of Harsha’s college fee. The mother hesitates, emotional at the thought of both daughters living away from them. But Varsha’s words are firm yet loving: “You know how much Harsha dreams of Bansal Law College. Let her study.”

After the call ends, her mother turns to Harsha and conveys the message. But Harsha refuses. She says, even with the discount, the fees are too high — she cannot let Varsha shoulder everything. “You make papad and pickles, I take tuitions… we’ll manage. We can’t burden her more.” Their father, Tej, sitting quietly in the corner, lowers his eyes in guilt. He mutters that he has become useless, that everything in the house is being sold while he sits helpless. The pain in his voice is heavy — “My body doesn’t work anymore… I’m a burden on all of you.” Harsha immediately hugs him, tears in her eyes, trying to lighten his mood. She tells him to look at how well Varsha is doing — maybe better days are close. The father’s eyes soften, but the ache remains.

The next scene shifts dramatically — a servant rushes in panic to call Sonia and Megh. They run into the room to find Tej collapsed. Megh checks his pulse, his face turns pale. Sonia’s trembling voice breaks, “What happened?” Megh’s silence answers everything — Tej is gone. The camera cuts to Sooraj, busy in his office when Bharti calls. “Your father… he’s no longer with us.” Sooraj freezes, his face turns blank before the words truly sink in. Varsha, seeing him in shock, softly asks, “What happened?” He replies, voice trembling, “My father is no more.” She immediately insists he go home, but he says there’s a crucial meeting. Varsha interrupts firmly — “I’ll handle it. You go.” Her compassion pierces through his restraint.

At the Verma Mansion, grief fills every corner. Sonia cries beside her father’s body, Viaan holds her hand, and Megh stands quietly, looking disturbed. The police arrive with the post-mortem report. The inspector reveals a shocking truth — Tej’s death wasn’t due to a natural heart attack but is suspected to be murder. Everyone is stunned. Megh’s face changes, and tension fills the room. The inspector explains that as per procedure, he must be present when the will is read.

The lawyer, who was also Tej’s friend, reads the will aloud. Tej had made it just three days before his death. According to it, 50% of Verma Textiles goes to Sooraj, and the remaining 50% to Sonia and Viaan. He wanted Sooraj and Sonia to manage the business together. But Sooraj refuses — he doesn’t want the property, the money, or the name. He asks to divide his share between Sonia and Viaan. Sonia pleads with him, saying they don’t want the wealth either, just his support. Sooraj, crushed under unresolved pain, walks away.

Before he can leave, the lawyer stops him and gives him a letter — Tej’s final message. Sooraj initially refuses, but Viaan reads it aloud. In it, Tej admits his guilt, saying he lost his right to be called Sooraj’s father after his remarriage, but pleads that Sonia and Viaan are not to blame. He requests Sooraj to look after them, reminding him that Verma Mansion is still his home. His final words ache with longing — “Even if you have left the Verma name, this house will always wait for you.” Sooraj listens in silence, his face stoic but eyes glassy with unspoken emotion.

Days later, Varsha visits Bharti to get Sooraj’s signature for the Neo Group deal. Bharti welcomes her warmly, mentioning how she knows everyone from Sooraj’s office. Varsha offers condolences, and Bharti sighs, “Who can change destiny?” Varsha notices the half-packed boxes around and helps Sooraj with the packing. They share a quiet moment — she discovers old letters his father wrote during his childhood. Sooraj admits he never read them out of hatred. Varsha gently convinces him to open one. The letter reveals a father’s guilt and helpless love — urging his son to stop hating him. The words pierce through Sooraj’s decades of anger. He feels a heavy weight lift, if only slightly.

Later, Sonia sits crying. Megh brings her soup, asking her to eat something. She admits she hasn’t felt like eating since her father’s death. Megh tries to comfort her, though he himself looks overworked. She informs him that Sooraj will join the company from tomorrow, and perhaps the workload will be lighter.

At the office, Varsha greets Sooraj. They share a light-hearted exchange about anger, regret, and forgiveness. When he confesses that he should have forgiven his father earlier, Varsha consoles him saying that feeling it in the heart matters more than words. Their chemistry deepens with gentle humor — when she asks him to talk about something else, he randomly brings up the distance between Earth and the moon. She laughs, and he teases, “You’re more beautiful than the moon anyway.”

Later, Sooraj comforts Sonia, encouraging her to stay strong and fulfill their father’s dream. She, in turn, welcomes him officially to Verma Textiles. They meet Megh, and despite the awkward air, Sooraj tries to bond. Meanwhile, Varsha and the team celebrate cracking the Mitra Chemicals deal. Everyone cheers for her, but she humbly credits the team effort. Varsha learns that Megh works in Verma Textiles, which Sooraj is going to lead now, since it belonged to Tej Verma. She doesn’t want to face Megh ever. Megh still misses Varsha.

In a tender closing scene, Varsha asks Sooraj if he feels lighter after reading his father’s letters. He nods faintly, saying he does. She smiles, her warmth quietly melting his grief. The distance between them — emotional, social, personal — seems to fade, even if just for a moment. Sooraj seems to fall in love with Varsha, while she is happy to get rid of Megh’s memories, since it haunts her with betrayal visuals than love memories.

Dooriyan Written Update Episode 10 Review:

Today’s Dooriyan was a tapestry of emotions — from the simplicity of a family meal to the heartbreak of loss and the rekindling of old wounds. The episode masterfully balanced domestic realism with emotional depth. Varsha’s phone call with her mother painted warmth and longing — a reminder of small-town roots and the quiet sacrifices of parents. Tej’s death turned the tone into heartbreak, layered with suspense as the murder angle unfolded. The reading of his will and Sooraj’s inner battle added emotional gravity, reflecting how resentment can outlive love, yet love never truly dies.

Varsha’s presence in Sooraj’s life feels almost destined — she’s the quiet light nudging him toward healing. Their scenes together had a delicate rhythm, full of unspoken empathy. Sonia’s grief and Megh’s quiet guilt added subtle intrigue. The dialogues were crisp yet poetic, allowing emotions to breathe naturally. Overall, Dooriyan delivered an episode that lived up to its title — showing that distances are not just about space, but the silences between hearts.
