Saru 3rd December 2025 Written Update: Saru Honours Tara, Ved Draws Closer, Saroja Steps Away, and Tara’s Drunken Truth Terrifies Saru
The episode opens at Tara’s felicitation party, where the entire Birla family and guests gather to celebrate her big honour. Saru steps forward to give a tribute to her mother-in-law. She holds the mic and speaks from her heart, calling the word “mother” a complete universe in itself, a shelter, a strength, a soft touch and an unshakable rock that fights every storm for her children. She says a mother’s blessings light up her children’s lives and that for Ved, Tara is that entire world wrapped in one person. Saru praises Tara as the perfect mother, the backbone of the family, and expresses her only wish — that someday Tara will accept her truly as her bahu and daughter.
The family and guests get emotional and impressed. Everyone claps for Saru’s heartfelt words. People praise Tara’s luck for getting such a warm, grounded daughter-in-law. Tara, however, is untouched inside. Behind her tight smile, she dismisses Saru’s “sugary talk” and decides she will still throw her out of the house very soon.
At the ashram, Chandrakant brings a home-cooked tiffin for Saroja. He knows she dislikes outside food and is still weak, so he wants her to eat something comforting. Urmila and Kamini barge in, having secretly followed Chandrakant.
They accuse him of betraying them, demanding to know what he is doing with this woman and whether she is the same person who has been calling him repeatedly. Kamini taunts that first he met her in the hotel, and now he is meeting her in the ashram. Chandrakant loses his temper and demands that they stop their nonsense. They see some woman instead of Saroja and are shocked. The lady introduces herself as an office staff member whose son and daughter-in-law had thrown her out. She says Chandrakant brought her here like a saviour and got her admitted to the ashram. The old lady’s innocent, emotional story softens the atmosphere instantly.
Chandrakant scolds Urmila and Kamini for doubting him and following him like inspectors. He tells them their minds are full of suspicion, and they have humiliated him and themselves by spying on him. He orders them to leave immediately before he loses his patience. Urmila drags her aching back out, muttering, while Kamini fumes that her doubts are still alive but she has to let it go for now.
At the Birla mansion, Tara sharpens her plan. She instructs the staff to pack Saru’s luggage. She watches the suitcase fill and coldly declares that tonight will be Saru’s last night in this house. She decides that Saru’s biggest strength, her goodness and purity, will become Tara’s biggest weapon against her. Tara wants Ved himself to throw Saru out, so that Saru’s heart breaks completely.
Meanwhile in the kitchen, a softer story plays out. Ved corners Saru playfully, asking what she meant earlier when she murmured that he always hovers around her like a bee. She awkwardly explains she was just recalling a party from before their marriage, when he had followed her to fix the strap of her dress but backed off because they weren’t married yet. Ved reminds her that back then he had no right to touch her, but now everything is different. He moves closer and gently ties the doris of her blouse, claiming his right as her husband. Saru’s heart races, and the romantic tension builds between them.
Their teasing turns into a cute, shy moment as he flirts and leans in, and she gets flustered. Their banter melts into romance as they later perform a couple dance at the party. The song plays, and Ved and Saru move together effortlessly. Guests praise their chemistry and call them the perfect couple. Some admit they didn’t even know Saru dances so well. Ved watches her with love, his eyes glowing with pride. The environment turns dreamy as they share smiles, laughter and unspoken promises on the dance floor.
Tara stands in a corner, watching the applause and admiration showered on Saru. Each compliment stabs her ego. She hears people calling her bahu a gem and tells herself she cannot tolerate this. The more Saru shines, the more Tara’s hatred rises. She feels Ved slipping closer to Saru, and that thought becomes unbearable for her. Saroja recalls how she requested the lady to take her place and got saved today. She thanks Chandrakant for all the care and tells that she wants to go back to her village. He gets worried.
Later, after the party, Tara drinks heavily and stumbles into a drunken meltdown. She storms away from the celebrations and breaks down, ranting that she hates Saru and hates how everyone is praising her. Saru follows, worried, and finds Tara in a completely unstable state. Tara pushes her away, refusing to be touched. She accuses Saru of trapping Ved, calling the party arrangements and the heartfelt speech nothing but a drama to look great in Ved’s eyes.
Drunk and raging, Tara screams that she cannot tolerate Saru for a single moment in this house and that she hates her so much she herself filed a false domestic violence complaint against Ved in the past, just to turn him against Saru. She rants about how she swapped Dadi’s photo with her own to frame Saru, how she burnt the bhog food, how every conspiracy was planned only to break Ved and Saru’s marriage. Her confession tumbles out in pieces, soaked in alcohol and bitterness. She shouts that she wants Ved to know she hates Saru and wants him to drag Saru out of the house one day.
Saru is shaken to the core hearing such raw truth. She looks at Tara, not as a saas now, but as a broken, insecure mother who has crossed every limit in fear of losing her son. Saru realises that if Ved hears this confession, his entire world will shatter. The pedestal on which he has kept his mother will crack in seconds. The bond between mother and son will be scarred forever.
Tara staggers towards the door, slurring that she will tell Ved everything right now, that she herself did all of it, that she hates Saru and wanted to destroy her marriage. Saru blocks her path, pleading with her to calm down. In her heart, Saru knows she cannot let this truth break Ved. She decides that she will protect their relationship, even if it means standing against her own justice.
Saru gently pushes Tara back into the room, sits her down and tries to distract her. Tara continues to shout that she will reveal the truth. Saru folds her hands in pain and takes a harsh decision. She steps out, quietly locks the door from outside to keep Tara from stumbling out in that condition, and tells herself that this is the only way to save the mother-son bond. She promises that she will return soon with lemon water and help Tara sober up before anyone hears her rants.
Outside, the party noises echo. Inside, Tara bangs the door, still screaming Ved’s name and declaring that she hates Saru. Saru stands trembling, praying that no one hears Tara’s drunken truth. As Tara continues shouting, her voice echoes in the corridor. Saru freezes when she realises others might have heard something. The episode ends with Tara screaming Ved’s name from the locked room, Saru caught between truth and protection, and the ominous sense that this decision will soon explode in her face.
