Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 12th December 2025 Written Update: Tulsi Walks Into Darkness, Mihir Walks Into Regret.
The episode opens on the raw aftermath of last night’s heartbreak. Tulsi stands frozen, her entire world collapsing right in front of her. The sight of Mihir in Noina’s arms keeps replaying like a cruel loop inside her head. She stumbles out of the house, numb, devastated, unable to even process words.
Mihir runs after her, calling her name with the desperation of a man who has suddenly realised he pushed too far. In his rush, he collides with a lady carrying gulal, and colours spill all over him. With that, the visuals rewind — flashes of Tulsi’s first meeting with him, their wedding, their family moments — as though the universe is mocking what they built, what he broke, and what she lost.
Tulsi wanders the streets, not seeing a single face around her. She is walking without direction, without breath, without will. Mihir searches every lane, calling out to her like a man losing oxygen. But Tulsi keeps drifting away until her foot slips, and she falls into a deep pit filled with rainwater. She sinks, almost willingly, as though letting herself drown in everything she couldn’t handle.
Inside this darkness, Tulsi dreams of Savita. Her mother-in-law appears like a guiding light, consoling her shattered heart. Tulsi breaks down completely, confessing that everything is over, that Mihir has destroyed every ounce of trust she held. Savita tries to remind her of her strength, her home, her children, her purpose — but Tulsi is drowning far deeper than the water she fell into.
Tulsi recalls Mandira. Another betrayal. Another storm. Another chapter where Mihir left her to pick up the pieces. Tulsi tells Savita that Mihir has a habit of leaving her shattered, and she cannot do this anymore. She feels cheated, unloved, unseen. Savita listens, tries to lift her spirit, but Tulsi is ready to let go of life itself. She begs for moksh, tired of carrying the weight of a marriage where she gave everything and received heartbreak twice over.
Just then, a man shakes her awake — a stranger, but an angel in disguise. He pulls her out of the water, saving her life in the nick of time. Tulsi looks at him with empty eyes and tells him she wanted to die. The man calmly says life and death aren’t hers to choose. He gives her water, asks about her family, and Tulsi weeps uncontrollably, saying everything is over, everyone she loves has betrayed her, and she has no purpose left.
The man becomes her unexpected counsellor. He tells her she wasn’t born for just one relationship, that she has a larger world waiting for her, that she didn’t live for herself even once. He tells her no one stays forever — children grow, husbands fail, relationships change — but God never abandons anyone. Tulsi listens, trembling, as he teaches her the painful truth she always avoided: she tied her identity so tightly to others that she forgot she was allowed to exist on her own.
The man asks her to stand up and take a step toward life again. Tulsi hesitates, saying she cannot see the path. He tells her the path comes only to those who try to walk. He asks her to close her eyes and trust him. Tulsi places her hand in his, and together they walk through the darkness. The background music shifts into a beautiful, spiritual rhythm as her inner strength slowly returns.
After a few steps, the man stops. Tulsi opens her eyes — and he glows with light. Literally transforming into a divine form. Tulsi stands stunned, realising she wasn’t rescued by a random stranger, but by a guiding spirit sent to pull her back from the edge.
Somewhere far from her, Mihir is still running, broken, frantic, haunted by the possibility that he might lose Tulsi forever.
Back at home, chaos erupts. The family panics as Tulsi is still missing. Hemant, always the one with the sharpest suspicion, finally says aloud what everyone is silently thinking — Noina may have had a hand in Tulsi’s disappearance. Gayatri, ever the opportunist, smirks and congratulates Noina for successfully breaking Tulsi and Mihir. Gayatri, hungry for power, assures Noina she will help her gain control over the Virani household now that Tulsi is gone.
But Gayatri has forgotten one thing — Tulsi may be wounded, but she is not weak.
The episode ends with Tulsi standing in front of a glowing light, realising the universe has not abandoned her, even if Mihir did.
Review:
This episode is a masterclass in heartbreak cinema. Tulsi didn’t just break — she shattered, dissolved, surrendered, and then rose again through divine intervention. The writers decided that if Tulsi is going to fall, it won’t be halfway. She will fall into a monsoon pit, hallucinate Savita, get rescued by a celestial motivational speaker, and come back glowing like she has taken a spiritual sabbatical.
Mihir, meanwhile, is a one-man guilt parade. His heart is running faster than his legs, and for the first time, he realises Tulsi isn’t a permanent fixture he can take for granted.
Noina? Oh, she is living her best villain life. Between emotional blackmail, crocodile tears, and accidental near-death stunts, she has secured herself the title of “Daily Soap’s Most Dedicated Delulu Queen.”
Gayatri jumping in as her cheerleader was just the cherry on the toxic cake.
Overall, the episode delivers heavy emotions, poetic visuals, spiritual symbolism, and a strong message:
Tulsi may fall, but she never breaks forever. She always rises — and when she does, someone is going to regret everything.
