Do Duniya Ek Dil 2nd June 2026 Written Update: Is Baldev Secretly Plotting Against Shivaay While Winning Everyone’s Trust?
The episode begins with Shivaay arriving at his shop after a busy morning. As soon as he enters, he notices Baldev standing near the storage area and asks what he is doing there. Baldev casually replies that he was only helping by writing down all the calculations and accounts in a notebook. He acts completely innocent before leaving for home.
However, something catches Shivaay’s attention.
Near the sacks of pulses, he notices a loose piece of paper lying on the floor. Curious, he picks it up and looks at it thoughtfully. Though nothing significant is revealed immediately, the moment hints that Shivaay’s suspicions may soon start growing.
Meanwhile, Aadhya is lost in her own little world.
She secretly uploads Shivaay’s heartfelt shayari online and smiles while reading the reactions. Her happiness is interrupted when Sonam suddenly enters the room and questions her about what she is doing.
Thinking quickly, Aadhya lies and says she is on a video call with her mother.
Sonam does not seem entirely convinced but decides not to push further. Instead, she tells Aadhya that the cooking oil at home has finished and asks her to buy some from the market.
Aadhya agrees.
Before leaving, she carefully hides Shivaay’s precious shayari notebook inside her bag. Sonam notices her unusual behavior and immediately becomes suspicious. Her curiosity grows stronger as she wonders what Aadhya is trying so hard to hide.
Back at home, another household crisis emerges.
Pratima informs Suraj that the gas cylinder is empty. Suraj promises that he and Baldev will arrange a replacement immediately.
Soon after, Aadhya returns with the cooking oil.
Just then, Baldev arrives carrying a fresh gas cylinder. He proudly announces that the problem has been solved and even declares that he will prepare food for everyone himself.
His gesture impresses the family.
Sonam immediately starts praising Baldev, calling him talented and helpful. Pratima also appreciates his efforts and reminds him that he is their guest and should not be doing household chores.
Baldev, however, has a different perspective.
He tells everyone that they should stop treating him like an outsider because they will soon become family anyway. His words leave a strong impression on everyone, especially Aadhya.
Elsewhere, Yash continues his mission to win Aadhya back.
During a live social media session, he dramatically announces that he is becoming a mechanic for the sake of love. According to him, no sacrifice is too big if it helps him regain Aadhya’s affection.
Back at the house, Sonam is busy creating fresh trouble.
She secretly calls Padma and updates her about Baldev’s growing popularity in Shivaay’s home. She complains that Baldev is winning everyone’s hearts by helping with chores and even cooking meals.
Padma quickly comes up with a plan.
She tells Sonam that she is sending a packet and instructs her to secretly mix its contents into one of Baldev’s dishes. Sonam agrees without hesitation.
Soon, lunch is served.
The family enjoys the delicious meal prepared by Baldev. Even Suraj admits that the food tastes excellent. Khushi jokingly comments that Baldev’s cooking is even better than her mother’s.
Aadhya becomes curious and asks where he learned such impressive cooking skills.
Baldev smiles and shares a touching story. He explains that he learned to cook so he could care for his mother whenever she fell ill. His answer earns admiration from everyone present.
Pratima cannot help noticing the similarity between Baldev and Shivaay. Both men are hardworking, caring, and willing to sacrifice for loved ones.
However, trouble is already brewing in the kitchen.
While everyone is distracted, Sonam sneaks inside and mixes a mysterious powder into the buttermilk.
Unfortunately for her, Aadhya catches her red-handed.
A fierce argument follows.
Aadhya demands to know what Sonam added to the drink. Sonam desperately tries to cover her tracks, but the situation quickly spirals out of control.
Baldev soon learns what happened.
Without raising his voice, he cleverly asks Sonam to drink the buttermilk herself.
Suddenly, Sonam becomes nervous.
She refuses immediately.
Suraj then offers to drink it instead, but Sonam panics and quickly stops him. Her reaction exposes her guilt more clearly than any confession could.
Pratima demands answers.
Sonam desperately insists that Aadhya is lying and falsely accusing her.
Baldev has seen enough.
In a dramatic moment, he throws away the entire vessel of buttermilk. Then he warns Suraj to control his wife. He reminds everyone that Aadhya is his daughter and makes it clear that he will not tolerate anyone troubling her.
The warning leaves Sonam furious but helpless.
Suraj quietly escorts her away while the rest of the family apologizes to Baldev for doubting him.
Later, Suraj privately questions Sonam about the mysterious powder.
Even he is shocked by her actions.
Sonam admits she does not actually know what was inside the packet. However, she promises that Baldev will soon discover what she is truly capable of.
Her obsession with creating problems is becoming increasingly dangerous.
Meanwhile, Baldev decides to visit Shivaay at the perfume factory.
He brings food for him and notices that Shivaay is handling all the work alone. Concerned, he asks why Shivaay does not hire additional staff.
Shivaay explains his financial situation.
He says that he still has debts to repay and cannot afford extra employees. Once he clears those obligations, he plans to expand and hire help.
Baldev immediately offers assistance.
He casually reveals that he once worked in the same perfume factory when he was Shivaay’s age. Hearing this, Shivaay agrees to let him help with some tasks.
Everything appears normal at first.
However, the atmosphere changes when Shivaay briefly steps away.
Baldev looks around carefully.
He picks up one of the perfume containers and appears ready to mix something into it. For a few tense seconds, it seems as though he is about to sabotage the entire batch.
Then he suddenly stops.
Before he can do anything further, Shivaay returns.
Thinking quickly, Baldev claims he was only checking the fragrance and compliments its quality before walking away.
But this time, Shivaay notices something.
A shadow of suspicion crosses his face.
For the first time, he begins wondering whether Baldev’s intentions are really as pure as they seem.
The episode ends on a suspenseful note as Baldev continues winning everyone’s trust while secretly behaving in increasingly questionable ways.

Shivaay directly accuses Baldev of trying to destroy his relationship with Aadhya. Furious and hurt, Aadhya refuses to tolerate any insult against her father and walks away, creating a major crack between herself and Shivaay.
Review
This episode does an excellent job building suspense around Baldev’s character. While he continues presenting himself as a caring father and helpful guest, several moments suggest that he may be hiding a darker agenda. The buttermilk drama adds family conflict, while the perfume factory scene provides the strongest suspense of the episode. Sonam remains as troublesome as ever, but Baldev’s mysterious behavior is clearly becoming the bigger storyline.
