Do Duniya Ek Dil 20th July 2026 Written Update: Shivay Throws Aadhya Out as Padma Blackmails Sonam
The episode begins with Suraj getting ready to play cards, but Pratima and Sonam stop him before he can leave. Meanwhile, the family gathers to celebrate Shivay’s birthday.
Aadhya brings the birthday cake and lovingly asks Shivay to make a wish before cutting it. Shivay silently closes his eyes, makes a wish, and cuts the cake. He first feeds a piece to Pratima. Smiling, Pratima asks him to feed the next piece to Aadhya. Though Shivay hesitates, he finally offers the cake to Aadhya, creating a brief emotional moment between the couple.
Just then, the celebration takes an unexpected turn when a group of reporters arrives at the Pandey house looking for Aadhya.
Confused, Aadhya asks why they have come. The reporters happily announce that she has won the “Influencer of the Month” award and have arrived to honor her achievement. Everyone is surprised by the announcement.
Sonam refuses to believe the news. She accuses Aadhya of inviting the media herself only to show off before the family and steal everyone’s attention.
The reporters begin questioning Shivay about his wife’s growing popularity. They ask him how he feels about Aadhya becoming a successful influencer. They also seek Pratima’s opinion. Proud of her daughter-in-law, Pratima says she feels fortunate to have someone like Aadhya in the family and praises her achievements wholeheartedly.
However, the reporters soon cross the line. One of them remarks that Shivay no longer needs to run his grocery shop because Aadhya is now famous. Shivay calmly replies that he has always believed every person should stand on their own feet and earn their own respect.
The reporters continue making sarcastic remarks, even jokingly asking whether Shivay won Aadhya’s heart with such philosophical dialogues. Their comments irritate Shivay beyond his limit. Losing his temper, he argues with the reporters and forcefully throws them out of the house.
After the media leaves, Sonam once again blames Aadhya for creating unnecessary drama. Aadhya insists that she never invited the reporters and cannot be held responsible for their behavior. Furious, Shivay abruptly announces that the birthday celebration is over and asks everyone to leave.
Inside their room, Shivay confronts Aadhya. He accuses her of deliberately bringing the media into the house to seek publicity. Aadhya repeatedly explains that she had no idea the reporters were coming, but Shivay refuses to believe her.
In a fit of anger, Shivay says marrying Aadhya was the biggest mistake of his life. He goes even further by saying that if someone like Monica, who is honest and straightforward, had entered his life instead of Aadhya, things would have been much better.
Standing outside, Monica accidentally overhears every word, leaving her stunned by Shivay’s harsh confession.
Elsewhere, Baldev confronts Suraj over Bunty. He reminds Suraj that he had ordered him to send Bunty out of the country, but instead Suraj involved Bunty in Aadhya’s matter and even followed him himself.
Completely drunk, Suraj openly rebels against Baldev. He declares that despite doing countless jobs for him, he will never work for him again. He boldly says he is no longer afraid of Baldev. Bunty joins Suraj in mocking Baldev.
Enraged by the insult, Baldev suddenly stabs Bunty, killing him on the spot. Horrified, Suraj falls to his knees and begs Baldev for forgiveness before collapsing unconscious.
Meanwhile, Khushi receives a disturbing phone call from her college friend Sonu. He reveals that he has edited and morphed her photographs into objectionable images. He demands money in exchange for deleting them and threatens to upload the pictures online if she refuses to pay.
The next morning, Sonam experiences a series of strange incidents. While getting ready, she suddenly receives an electric shock after touching her hair dryer. Moments later, she discovers a needle hidden on her chair. Confused and frightened, she wonders who is targeting her.
Soon, Padma calls Sonam and asks her to meet at an abandoned warehouse.
When Sonam arrives, Padma grabs her and accuses her of informing Baldev about her activities. Sonam denies betraying her and warns Padma that if Baldev learns the truth about her, he will throw her out of the house.
Padma laughs and reveals that she also possesses a secret video of Sonam. She warns Sonam to obey her orders if she wants the video to remain hidden. Padma further shocks Sonam by confessing that both the electric shock and the needle attack were planned by her to demonstrate what she is capable of. Leaving Sonam terrified, Padma walks away.
Back at home, Aadhya notices Khushi looking disturbed. After some persuasion, Khushi reveals that Sonu has morphed her photographs and is blackmailing her for ₹5 lakh.
Aadhya immediately suggests informing Shivay and filing a police complaint. However, Khushi fears the scandal and refuses.
Instead, Aadhya comes up with another plan. She tells Khushi to pretend to agree with Sonu and arrange a meeting while she secretly stays nearby. Khushi reluctantly agrees.
Khushi meets Sonu and hands him a small amount of money. Sonu becomes furious and says he demanded ₹5 lakh, not charity. He threatens to upload the fake photographs and shamelessly flirts with her.
Just then, Aadhya arrives and fearlessly confronts Sonu. She snatches his phone, smashes it to pieces, and fights back without hesitation.
At the same time, Monica arrives with the police, who immediately arrest Sonu for blackmail and harassment.
Soon afterward, Shivay reaches the spot and confirms that Khushi is safe.
However, instead of appreciating Aadhya’s courage, Shivay remains consumed by anger over her earlier lie. He takes Aadhya home, packs her belongings, and shocks everyone by asking her to leave the house immediately.
Pratima strongly opposes Shivay’s decision and defends Aadhya, insisting that she can never intentionally do anything wrong.
Shivay refuses to listen. He argues that if Aadhya had been truthful from the beginning, Khushi’s photographs would never have been at risk of going viral.
Sonam and Suraj also take Shivay’s side and continue blaming Aadhya for every problem, while Pratima stands firmly beside her daughter-in-law.
The episode ends with Aadhya heartbroken as Shivay forces her out despite everything she did to protect Khushi.
