Do Duniya Ek Dil 20th July 2026 Written Update: Shivay Apologises to Aadhya as Sonam Creates New Misunderstandings
Today’s episode begins with Shivay confronting Aadhya after learning that she secretly took Khushi to meet Sonu. Furious over her decision, Shivay scolds Aadhya for acting without thinking about the consequences. He tells her that she could have put everyone in danger and questions why she always makes such reckless decisions.
Shivay praises Monica for handling the situation intelligently by informing the police. He tells Aadhya that she should learn from Monica instead of acting impulsively. His harsh words leave Aadhya heartbroken. Shivay goes on to accuse her of already ruining his life and warns that he will never allow her to destroy his family as well. Overcome with anger, he orders Aadhya to leave the house immediately.
The situation takes an even more painful turn when Pratima slaps Aadhya in front of everyone, leaving her completely shattered.
Elsewhere, Pallavi shows her treasured ancestral necklace to Baldev. She tells him that she wants to gift it to Aadhya as a blessing for her married life. Baldev immediately objects and once again expresses his disappointment over Aadhya’s marriage to Shivay.
Pallavi reminds him that he tried everything possible to stop the wedding, but destiny had other plans. She urges him to accept the marriage and move on. Baldev refuses to listen and tells Pallavi not to lecture him. He confidently says that Aadhya is currently blinded by love. According to him, once reality opens her eyes, she will eventually leave Shivay and return to her father because she is, after all, his daughter.
Back at the Pandey house, Pratima begins regretting her earlier reaction. She questions Shivay about whether this is really how she raised him. She tells him that regardless of the circumstances, he should never have spoken to a woman so harshly. Turning towards Aadhya, Pratima gently asks her to go and rest in her room.
Alone in her room, Aadhya recalls Shivay’s cruel words and breaks down emotionally. Soon, Pratima and Khushi enter to comfort her. Pratima sincerely apologises on Shivay’s behalf and admits that his behaviour was unacceptable.
Aadhya, however, defends Shivay. She quietly says that he only reacted in anger because of the misunderstanding. Pratima sadly remarks that Shivay has failed to recognize the depth of Aadhya’s love. She reminds Aadhya that she left behind her comfortable life just to become part of their humble family.
While comforting her, Pratima notices injuries on Aadhya’s body. Shocked, she carefully treats her wounds and expresses hope that one day all the misunderstandings between Shivay and Aadhya will finally disappear.
Unfortunately, Sonam secretly overhears their entire conversation. Watching Aadhya receive sympathy from everyone, she silently vows that she will never allow Shivay and Aadhya to reunite.
Meanwhile, Khushi gathers the courage to speak with Shivay. She explains that Aadhya never made a mistake. Khushi reveals that they managed to catch Sonu only because Aadhya accompanied her. She further admits that Sonu had threatened her into keeping everything secret, leaving her confused and frightened. Khushi also reveals that Aadhya was injured while trying to protect her.
Hearing the truth leaves Shivay stunned. Realizing how unfairly he judged Aadhya, he immediately rushes to her room.
Filled with guilt, Shivay gently applies medicine to Aadhya’s wounds and sincerely apologises for hurting her with his words. The emotional moment softens the tension between them.
While Shivay is tending to her injuries, Aadhya’s hair accidentally gets caught in one of his shirt buttons. As they try to free it, the two share an awkward yet romantic moment, slowly forgetting the bitterness between them.
Their closeness is witnessed by Sonam, who watches everything through the window. She deliberately enters the room and interrupts the moment. Teasing them sarcastically, Sonam tells Shivay and Aadhya that if they wish to romance, they should at least do it behind closed doors because there are many people living in the house.
Embarrassed, Aadhya quickly explains that her hair had become stuck in Shivay’s shirt button. Sonam untangles it herself but continues making sarcastic remarks before walking away, clearly unhappy about the growing closeness between the couple.
Later that night, a thief secretly enters the Pandey house. He quietly attempts to steal Pratima’s bangles while she is asleep. To prevent her from raising an alarm, he covers her mouth.
However, Aadhya and Khushi, who are sleeping beside Pratima, immediately wake up. Without hesitation, they bravely confront the thief and fight back. Realizing that he has been caught, the thief escapes from the house on a motorcycle.
Aadhya runs after him on foot and tries her best to catch him, but despite her efforts, the thief manages to disappear.
Soon, Sonam and Suraj learn about the attempted theft. Aadhya suggests informing Shivay immediately, but Pratima refuses. She says Shivay is busy with work and should not be disturbed over the incident.
The following morning, Monica brings tea for Shivay. Half asleep, Shivay mistakenly assumes it is Aadhya and starts scolding her. When he realizes that it is actually Monica, he immediately apologises. The two then quietly enjoy tea together before Monica leaves.
Later, Aadhya notices that Shivay has skipped his lunch. Worried about him, she decides to call and remind him to eat. Sonam secretly observes this and immediately comes up with another plan.
She calls Monica and asks her to contact Shivay instead. As expected, Shivay answers Monica’s call without any delay. Watching this happen, Aadhya feels deeply hurt and believes Shivay is ignoring her, creating yet another misunderstanding between them.
