Do Duniya Ek Dil 22nd July 2026 Written Update: Shivay Is Arrested as Baldev’s Shocking Conspiracy Comes to Light
Today’s episode begins with Monica calling Shivay. Much to Aadhya’s disappointment, Shivay answers Monica’s call immediately. Watching this, Aadhya is deeply hurt because she had tried calling Shivay several times earlier, but he ignored every one of her calls. Monica continues speaking with Shivay while Aadhya silently watches, unable to hide her pain.
Seeing an opportunity to widen the distance between the couple, Sonam approaches Aadhya. She points out that Shivay ignored all of Aadhya’s calls but answered Monica’s instantly. Sonam even suggests that Shivay may have deleted Aadhya’s phone number altogether. She further claims that Monica and Shivay have become extremely close these days and warns Aadhya to be careful before walking away.
Sonam’s words leave Aadhya disturbed. She recalls Shivay once telling her that he wished someone like Monica had been in his life instead of her. Remembering those painful words, Aadhya becomes even more insecure about her relationship.
Meanwhile, Shivay is preoccupied with another serious issue. He recalls Vivaan mistakenly calling him, believing he was speaking to Shiv Kumar. During that conversation, Vivaan had clearly stated that his own name should never appear in connection with the Class 12 board examination paper leak.
Realizing the importance of that information, Shivay decides that he must immediately tell Aadhya about Vivaan’s involvement before it is too late.
Elsewhere, Monica meets Aadhya and gently comforts her. She tells Aadhya that she has already heard about the misunderstanding between her and Shivay. Monica assures her that Shivay is only upset at the moment and that everything will become normal once his anger subsides. Touched by her kindness, Aadhya thanks Monica before leaving.

Later, Shivay returns home and asks Aadhya to come inside because he has something important to discuss with her. Before he gets the chance to reveal the truth, several police officers suddenly arrive at the Pandey house.
The officers inform Shivay that he is under arrest because his name has surfaced in the Class 12 board examination paper leak case.
Shivay is completely shocked. He insists that there must be some misunderstanding because he has no connection with the crime. The police reveal that they have obtained all the necessary legal permissions along with a search warrant for the house.
During the search, the officers recover a laptop, confidential files, examination papers, and a large amount of cash from Shivay’s room. All the items are seized as evidence.
Shivay immediately denies owning the laptop, files, or examination papers. He explains that only the money belongs to him and that it was honestly earned through his hard work.
Aadhya, Monica, and Khushi desperately try convincing the police that Shivay is innocent, but the officers refuse to listen. They insist that Shivay must accompany them for further investigation.
Monica loses her temper and argues with the police, but Shivay asks her to remain calm. He says that if he is truly innocent, the truth will eventually come out.
As the officers prepare to take him away, Aadhya says she will immediately contact Baldev for legal help. However, Shivay stops her and instead asks her to find Vivaan because only he knows the real truth behind the case.
The police then take Shivay into custody.
At the police station, Shivay is questioned about the examination paper leak. He repeatedly maintains his innocence and tells the officers that they are investigating the wrong person.
He explains that the real suspect is Shiv Kumar. Shivay further reveals that Vivaan accidentally called him while trying to contact Shiv Kumar and specifically mentioned that his own name should not become linked with the paper leak.

Meanwhile, Suraj meets Baldev and reminds him that he had promised to arrange Shivay’s release on bail but has not taken any action.
During their conversation, it is revealed that Suraj himself secretly planted the laptop, confidential files, examination papers, and other incriminating evidence inside Shivay’s room to frame him.
Baldev calmly reminds Suraj that he had already made his conditions clear. He would only intervene after Aadhya personally came to him.
Suraj argues that Aadhya is living with Shivay willingly because she is Shivay’s wife. Hearing Shivay referred to as Aadhya’s husband enrages Baldev, who refuses to accept their marriage even now.
Soon afterwards, Aadhya arrives at Baldev’s house searching for Vivaan. Instead, she finds Baldev waiting for her.
She tells him that Vivaan has falsely implicated Shivay in the paper leak case. Baldev immediately rejects the accusation and defends Vivaan. Instead, he once again criticizes Shivay and questions Aadhya’s marriage.
Listening to him, Aadhya finally realizes that Baldev has never accepted her relationship with Shivay. She directly asks whether he was the one who informed Shivay about her secretly using social media.
Baldev avoids giving a direct answer. Instead, he says that everything happening today only proves he was right to oppose their relationship from the beginning. He bitterly adds that supporting Aadhya’s happiness was the biggest mistake of his life.
Elsewhere, Sonam secretly meets Padma after calling her. Pretending to have another reason for the meeting, Sonam tries to steal Padma’s mobile phone so she can retrieve evidence to blackmail her.
However, Padma arrives fully prepared. One of her men catches Sonam before she can escape and takes away both mobile phones. Padma mocks Sonam for underestimating her.
She then completely formats Sonam’s phone before returning it, ensuring that every piece of blackmail material has been permanently erased. Left with no evidence against Padma, Sonam begins worrying about her next move.
Meanwhile, Police Officer Komal meets Baldev and informs him that despite repeated questioning, Shivay refuses to admit any involvement in the paper leak.
To demonstrate his ruthless philosophy, Baldev picks up a knife and stabs Shiv Kumar. Overwhelmed by unbearable pain, Shiv Kumar falsely confesses to murdering his own parents.
Baldev then reveals to Komal that Shiv Kumar’s parents are actually alive. His confession came only because the physical torture forced him to say anything to stop the pain.
Using this example, Baldev instructs Komal to apply the same method on Shivay until he also confesses.
Komal agrees and returns to the police station.
The officers brutally torture Shivay, demanding that he confess to leaking the examination papers. Despite the unbearable pain, Shivay refuses to admit to a crime he never committed.
Later, Komal returns and shows Baldev footage of Shivay being subjected to police torture, confirming that the plan is moving forward exactly as intended.
The episode ends on this disturbing and emotional note.
