Mannat 17th August 2026 Written Update: Dhairya Plots to Kill Vikrant as Mannat and Vikrant Grow Closer

The episode begins with Dhairya becoming increasingly frightened after Vikrant’s sudden attack on him. He keeps thinking about what happened and wonders whether Vikrant has started remembering his past. Dhairya fears that if Vikrant has regained even a part of his memory, he could expose the truth and even try to kill him.

Just then, Vikrant arrives.

Dhairya immediately becomes nervous, assuming that Vikrant may have come to attack him again. He asks Vikrant to stay away from him. His fear makes it clear that he is worried about being exposed.

Vikrant, however, cleverly pretends that he has no idea why he attacked Dhairya. He apologises and says that he suddenly became angry and lost control. He assures Dhairya that he does not remember what made him behave that way.

Dhairya pretends to forgive him.

Vikrant then hugs Dhairya, deliberately trying to gain his trust. In his mind, Vikrant knows that Dhairya is already terrified of him. He decides to use that fear against him and believes Dhairya may eventually make another mistake that will expose his real intentions.

At the same time, Dhairya reaches a completely different conclusion.

He thinks Vikrant has become a serious threat to him and decides that he cannot allow him to remain alive.

Dhairya tampers with Vikrant’s car

Dhairya secretly cuts the brake wire of the car.

He believes this will finally give him an opportunity to get rid of Vikrant without anyone suspecting him.

Later, Dhairya asks Vikrant where he is going.

Vikrant tells him that he wants to go outside and is planning to book a cab.

Dhairya immediately gives him the car keys instead.

He tells Vikrant to take his car and drive it instead. He even pretends that he is giving the car to Vikrant as a gift.

Vikrant acts grateful and thanks him.

He is about to leave when Mannat suddenly stops him.

Mannat reminds Vikrant that he had promised to stay with the family for five days. She tells him that he cannot simply go outside whenever he wants.

Dhairya becomes frustrated because Mannat has once again unknowingly interfered with his plan.

He had planned to eliminate Vikrant using the damaged car, but now Vikrant may not even leave the house.

Vikrant remains determined to go out.

Mannat tells Dhairya that Vikrant should not be allowed to travel alone. She asks Dhairya to accompany him because she is worried that Vikrant may not return safely.

Dhairya is horrified by the suggestion.

He thinks that he wants to kill Vikrant, not put himself in danger alongside him.

He immediately refuses and makes an excuse about having an upset stomach.

Dhairya then tries to convince Vikrant to remain at home instead.

Vikrant eventually agrees, leaving Dhairya frustrated but relieved that he has managed to stop Vikrant from taking the car.

Mannat secretly meets Vikrant

Later, Mannat quietly enters Vikrant’s room.

She looks at him sleeping and becomes emotional.

Mannat tells Vikrant that she had prayed for his return and that she will not allow him to leave her again.

However, Mannat soon realises that Vikrant is only pretending to sleep.

She decides to tease him and playfully exposes his act.

The two begin spending some romantic moments together.

Vikrant expresses his love for Mannat, making the moment even more emotional for her.

Their happiness is interrupted when Mallika hears noises coming from Vikrant’s room.

She becomes suspicious and decides to check what is happening.

Vikrant cleverly hides the truth

Vikrant immediately becomes alert after hearing Mallika approaching.

He realises that if Mallika sees him behaving normally with Mannat, she could discover that he is pretending to be Abhimanyu.

He quickly comes up with an excuse.

When Mallika enters, Vikrant pretends that he has been practising wrestling alone.

Mallika looks confused and asks what he is doing.

Vikrant confidently tells her that he was simply practising wrestling.

He manages to convince her and sends her away.

Mannat watches Vikrant’s clever performance and understands how carefully he is maintaining the secret.

Once Mallika leaves, Vikrant and Mannat spend some more time together.

Their growing closeness gives Vikrant emotional strength as he continues preparing to expose Dhairya.

Dhairya turns to Manyata

Meanwhile, Dhairya refuses to give up on his plan.

He knows that killing Vikrant directly could expose him, especially now that Vikrant is behaving unpredictably.

Dhairya therefore decides to use another person’s obsession against Vikrant.

He thinks about Manyata and her extreme attachment to Vikrant.

Dhairya plans to use Manyata’s obsession with him to create another dangerous situation.

His intention is clear—he wants Vikrant out of his way before Vikrant can recover his memory and reveal the truth.

The episode ends with Dhairya preparing his next move, while Vikrant and Mannat remain unaware of just how dangerous his plan has become.

Precap

Mannat becomes determined to accompany Vikrant when he decides to go outside. Meanwhile, they soon realise that the car’s brakes have failed.

The situation turns terrifying as the car meets with an accident, putting Mannat and Vikrant’s lives in serious danger.

Our Take

This episode keeps the suspense high with the cat-and-mouse game between Vikrant and Dhairya.

The biggest development is that both men are now secretly aware that the other is hiding something. Vikrant is pretending to have no memory while carefully trying to expose Dhairya, whereas Dhairya believes Vikrant may have regained his memory and is desperately looking for a way to eliminate him.

The car sequence is particularly effective because Dhairya thinks he has found the perfect way to get rid of Vikrant. However, Mannat unintentionally ruins his plan by stopping Vikrant from leaving. Dhairya’s frustration makes it obvious that he is becoming increasingly desperate.

The romantic scenes between Mannat and Vikrant provide a softer contrast to the danger surrounding them. Vikrant’s ability to quickly change his behaviour when Mallika arrives also shows how carefully he is protecting his secret.

The decision to involve Manyata could make the upcoming track even more dangerous. Dhairya knows exactly how obsessed she is with Vikrant and may use that obsession to create confusion or put Vikrant and Mannat in greater danger.

The precap promises a major twist with the brake failure. If Mannat insists on going with Vikrant, Dhairya’s plan could end up putting both of them in danger.
