The 2nd September 2026 episode of Mannat brings Mannat and Vikrant’s plan to expose Dhairya dangerously close to succeeding. After consuming the truth-serum-laced sweet, Dhairya begins losing control of his emotions while watching the children’s Janmashtami drama. However, instead of directly confessing his crime, he starts defending his actions, leaving Mannat frustrated. Meanwhile, Vikrant struggles to keep the plan going without exposing his own secret.
Mannat Gets Emotional Over Vikrant’s Message
The episode begins with Mannat reading a message from Vikrant. His words touch her deeply and leave her emotional.
Meanwhile, Dua is delighted with the peacock feather gifted by Vikrant. She thanks Mannat for the present, but Mannat immediately gives the credit to Dua’s father.

Mannat Episode Review
This episode delivers a clever twist to Mannat’s plan. The truth serum clearly affects Dhairya, but instead of giving Mannat the straightforward confession she wants, it makes him emotionally defensive.
The Kamsa analogy works particularly well because Dhairya unknowingly starts describing his own mindset while defending the mythological villain. His claim that circumstances forced him to act the way he did gives Mannat plenty of evidence about his guilt, even though he stops short of admitting it directly.
The bigger problem now is that Dhairya appears to be becoming suspicious. If he has genuinely discovered that Vikrant has regained his memory, Mannat and Vikrant’s carefully planned trap could turn against them.
