Mannat 7th October 2026 Written Update: Dhairya Surrenders After Betraying Dua as Mannat Exposes His Truth

The episode begins with Vikrant confronting Dhairya about his accusations. Dhairya had called Vikrant selfish and blamed him for taking Mannat away from him, but Vikrant refuses to let him rewrite the past.

Vikrant reminds Dhairya that Mannat never belonged to him in the first place. If Mannat truly loved Dhairya, Vikrant questions how he could claim that she was “snatched” away from him. He points out that Dhairya was responsible for losing Mannat twice because of his own actions.

The biggest accusation, though, is about Neetu.

Dhairya murdered his own mother figure without mercy. Neetu sacrificed herself to protect Vikrant, yet Dhairya took her life. Vikrant questions how a man who committed such an unforgivable act can still accuse others of being selfish.

He also asks Dhairya to look at what he did to his own daughter.

Vikrant Reminds Dhairya How He Protected Dua

Vikrant reveals that he had actually planned to separate Dua from Dhairya on his wedding day. He loved Dua deeply and trusted Dhairya so much that he never imagined he could betray her.

When Dhairya tried to abduct Dua, Vikrant stopped him. Even after discovering the truth, Vikrant did not immediately expose him to everyone. Instead, he gave Dhairya an opportunity to correct his mistake.

That chance was wasted.

Vikrant tells Dhairya that he can never forgive him for what he did to Dua.

Dhairya loses his temper and tries to attack Vikrant, but Mannat immediately steps in and stops him.

Mannat firmly warns Dhairya not to touch Vikrant. She tells him that there is nothing left for him to blame on anyone else because he destroyed his own life.

The purest love Dhairya ever had was in Dua’s heart, but he has lost even that.

Mannat makes it clear that Dhairya cannot hold someone else responsible for the consequences of his own choices.

Mannat Questions Dhairya’s Love for Dua

Mannat reminds Dhairya of how proudly he used to talk about his relationship with Dua. He always presented himself as the best father figure in her life.

She asks how someone who loved Dua like his own daughter could betray her so completely.

Dhairya did not merely hurt Dua. He took advantage of the trust she placed in him and ultimately helped Ankit sell her to a child trafficking gang.

The accusation leaves Dhairya defeated.

He bitterly says that he is glad Dua has finally discovered his true face.

Mannat points out just how devastating that truth is because Dua loved Dhairya more than even her own parents. Mannat had deliberately kept the truth from Dua for so long because she did not want to destroy her daughter’s heart.

Dhairya had always used Vikrant’s seven-year absence from Dua’s life to prove that he was the one who truly raised her.

He had been there for Dua since birth. He had cared for her, loved her and even taught her self-defence.

The irony is painful.

Dua eventually had to use the very lessons Dhairya taught her to protect herself from him.

Mannat Remembers the Father Dhairya Used to Be

Mannat admits that she had been genuinely surprised by how beautifully Dhairya raised Dua.

At a time when Mannat was already struggling with Aishwarya Rai Singh’s attempts to destroy her life and had begun losing faith in people, Dhairya seemed different.

He gave Dua everything.

He loved her deeply.

He made her feel protected.

That is exactly why his betrayal is so difficult to understand.

Mannat asks him how he could betray a daughter who trusted him so completely.

Dhairya finally breaks down emotionally. He says that he never wanted Dua to hate him.

Mannat tells him that his actions have already brought him to that point.

Neetu and Roni Were Betrayed Too

Mannat reminds Dhairya that Dua is not the only person whose trust he destroyed.

Neetu loved him like her own son. She trusted him and cared for him, yet Dhairya murdered her.

Roni also trusted him deeply, but Dhairya broke his heart through his actions.

Mannat tells Dhairya that the people who genuinely loved him now hate him because of what he has done. He cannot blame them for changing their feelings when his own actions pushed them away.

Dhairya has no real answer.

The weight of everything he has done is finally catching up with him.

Vikrant Reveals the Difference Between Them

Vikrant then tells Dhairya that he was genuinely happy when he discovered that he had a brother.

He loved Dhairya with all his heart.

Vishakha, though, poisoned their relationship and created hatred between them. She separated Dhairya and Vikrant and turned their bond into a bitter rivalry.

Yet Vikrant says he never responded by trying to murder people.

He credits Neetu’s upbringing for teaching him the difference between right and wrong.

According to Vikrant, Dhairya’s actions ultimately showed whose upbringing he had truly embraced. He says Dhairya followed Vishakha’s path when he murdered Neetu instead of choosing the values Neetu had tried to give both of them.

The confrontation becomes even more emotional when Vikrant admits that he was also wrong in the past.

He accepts that he made mistakes with Mannat. Both he and Mannat may have been wrong at different points, but Dua never did anything to deserve Dhairya’s betrayal.

She only gave him love.

Vikrant asks how Dhairya could betray someone who had done nothing except love him.

Dhairya Realises What He Has Done to Dua

Vikrant asks Dhairya to imagine what his actions have done to Dua.

For years, Dua believed that her Baba was the best person in the world.

She trusted him completely.

Dhairya has now crushed that belief and broken the heart of the child who loved him the most.

Dhairya finally regrets what he has done. Once again, he says that he never wanted Dua to hate him.

Mannat gives him a painful reality check.

She tells him that what he calls his punishment is actually a punishment for Dua.

Dhairya may have to face prison and consequences, but Dua is the one who will carry the emotional damage.

Mannat fears that Dua may never trust relationships again. She may become afraid of getting close to people because the person she trusted most betrayed her so badly.

That realisation leaves Dhairya shattered.

Dhairya Surrenders to the Police

Just as the confrontation reaches its emotional peak, the police arrive.

Dhairya finally accepts that he cannot escape the consequences any longer.

He surrenders himself to the police.

Before leaving, Dhairya apologises to Vikrant. He then turns to Mannat and makes one final request.

He asks her to somehow change Dua’s heart toward him.

He does not want his daughter to hate him.

Mannat tells him that this is not something she can control.

Dua has been hurt by Dhairya, and now the decision belongs to her. She will decide whether she can ever forgive him or whether she wants him completely out of her life.

Dhairya has no choice but to leave with the police.

Ankit Gets Worried After Dhairya’s Surrender

Ankit watches everything unfold and realises that Dhairya has surrendered himself.

This creates a new problem for him.

With Dhairya in police custody, Ankit knows that he needs to act before the situation gets worse for him.

The episode ends with Ankit thinking about his next move.

Precap: Manyata Takes a Drastic Step

The upcoming episode takes an alarming turn as Manyata is shown attempting suicide.

Ankit informs Samragi about the situation. Samragi immediately sees an opportunity to turn the blame toward Vikrant.

She tells Ankit that Vikrant should be sent to jail for allegedly murdering Manyata.

The new twist threatens to pull Vikrant into another serious legal crisis just as Dhairya’s chapter begins to close.

Review

This episode finally gives Dhairya the confrontation he has been avoiding for far too long. The strongest part is that Mannat does not simply accuse him of betraying Dua; she makes him understand what his betrayal will do to Dua emotionally.

That hits harder than any punishment.

Dhairya spent so long believing that he was Dua’s protector that he never stopped to realise that he was becoming the biggest threat to the trust she had placed in him. The fact that she used the self-defence skills he taught her against the very person who betrayed her is one of the episode’s most painful ironies.

Vikrant’s admission that he also made mistakes adds some balance to the confrontation. He does not pretend to be perfect, but he makes the crucial distinction: mistakes can be regretted, while deliberately destroying the people who love you has consequences.

Dhairya’s surrender feels earned after this confrontation, and Mannat’s final statement is particularly powerful. His punishment is prison, but Dua’s punishment is losing faith in the people she loves.

The precap, though, immediately opens another dangerous track with Manyata’s suicide attempt and Samragi targeting Vikrant. Just when one crisis seems to be settling, the show is already loading the next one.
