Bigg Boss 20 23rd October 2026 Written Update: Qazi Wins Captaincy Task Round as Mahhi Becomes the New Captain
Qazi Celebrates a Special Milestone
The episode begins with Qazi sharing a special memory with Manish. He reveals that he won his first reality show exactly 21 years ago on this day, making the occasion particularly meaningful to him.
Elsewhere, Gullu complains about Amrapali asking him to peel too much garlic. Amrapali decides to teach him a lesson by using less garlic in the food. Qazi entertains the housemates by acting like a monkey, prompting Amrapali to call him weird.
The light-hearted moments soon give way to the captaincy competition as Bigg Boss announces a new task.
Bigg Boss Announces the Captaincy Task
Bigg Boss explains that the housemates who are not competing will help the contenders win the captaincy. Yung, Scout, Arishfa, Uditi, Mary, Manish, Kanika, Gullu and Qazi participate in the task.
Bigg Boss introduces a musical chairs challenge consisting of five rounds. Each round has a dictator who gets to eliminate a contestant from the race.
Mary becomes the dictator of the first round. She eliminates Uditi, explaining that there is no bond between them.
Love takes charge of the second round and also eliminates Uditi from the race. Manish becomes the dictator in the third round and eliminates Yung, saying that Yung can do much better.
Aasif takes charge of the fourth round, bringing another important decision into the competition.
Aasif Eliminates Gullu as Kanika Questions His Decision
During the task, Qazi opens up about his admiration for Hrithik Roshan. He reveals that the actor has been his childhood idol and that he has expressed his love for him many times.
The conversation offers a personal glimpse into Qazi’s life before the captaincy battle resumes.
Aasif eliminates Gullu from the race. Kanika immediately questions his decision, suggesting that Aasif wants to prevent her from becoming captain. Aasif denies the accusation.
Mahhi becomes the dictator of the final round and eliminates Scout. With the competition narrowing down, Qazi wins the musical chairs round.
Qazi then announces Mahhi as the new captain of the house, marking a major change in the house’s power dynamics.
Mahhi Assigns Duties as Tensions Rise
After becoming captain, Mahhi begins dealing with household responsibilities. Qazi tells her that his duty involves cleaning Shark’s teeth or the ostrich effigy.
Aasif asks Kanika to cook, but Kanika refuses, declaring that she will no longer cook for him. Their disagreement adds to the growing tension over household duties.
Uditi later tells Arishfa that Mahhi wants her to clean. She also reveals that Mahhi had suggested that anything was possible with Love when it came to making people work. Arishfa responds that she will refuse to do the assigned work.
Mahhi’s captaincy quickly becomes a test of how effectively she can manage the housemates, especially those who are unwilling to accept their responsibilities.
Yung and Amrapali Feel Ignored by Scout and Love
Away from the household duties, Yung and Amrapali begin feeling left out of Scout and Love’s circle.
Yung complains that Scout no longer gives him importance and frequently ignores him. Amrapali shares similar concerns, suggesting that their relationships with the two men are becoming strained.
Amrapali later asks Scout to sit with them. Yung questions Scout about whether he is going to check on Love, which offends Scout. Yung and Amrapali then tease Love, adding another layer of tension to the group.
Amrapali and Yung eventually confront Scout, accusing him of failing to take their side in front of others. Scout denies their claims and walks away rather than continuing the argument.
Yung tells Amrapali that he believes Love is using Scout. As Love spends time sitting with Qazi and Gullu, Yung informs Amrapali about it.
Yung begins regretting his decision to choose Scout over Aasif. He recognises that his expectations from Scout may not have been met and opens up about his insecurities.
Qazi Celebrates His Reality Show Victory
Despite the conflicts around him, Qazi celebrates the anniversary of his first reality show victory with the other housemates.
His achievement from 21 years ago gives him a reason to reflect on his journey. The celebration brings a personal moment into an episode otherwise dominated by competition and shifting friendships.
Later, Yung shares stories about the difficult days he has experienced. He becomes emotional while talking about his struggles, and Aasif and Scout console him.
The moment offers a glimpse of Yung’s vulnerable side, even as his relationships in the house remain uncertain.
Aasif and Qazi Clash as Household Tensions Continue
A verbal argument breaks out between Qazi and Aasif early in the morning, adding to the already tense atmosphere.
Mahhi tells Gullu that she will only run after him during her captaincy, making a playful remark about their dynamic.
The housemates then face another dispute over food. Mahhi asks Love to cook, and Love requests that Amrapali fry the fritters so she can continue preparing the rest of the meal.
Amrapali refuses, saying that she is occupied with something else. Love informs Mahhi that Amrapali has declined to fry the fritters.
Love suggests that they eat kadhi without fritters, but Mahhi questions how they can eat the dish without them. Love explains that she cannot manage too much work at once.
Amrapali then says she does not know how to prepare kadhi and decides to make rice and dal instead. She informs Mahhi and asks her to discuss the matter further with Love.
The disagreement escalates into a verbal argument between Love and Mahhi. What begins as a discussion about cooking becomes another test of the housemates’ willingness to cooperate.
The dispute also strains Amrapali and Love’s bond, adding to the growing divisions in the house.
Amrapali and Yung Question Their Friendship With Scout
Amrapali and Yung’s concerns about Scout continue to grow. They feel he no longer supports them and has become more invested in his association with Love.
After Scout walks away from their confrontation, Yung tells Amrapali that Love is using him. The sight of Love sitting with Qazi and Gullu reinforces Yung’s belief that Scout is drifting away from their group.
Yung openly regrets choosing Scout over Aasif and begins acknowledging his own insecurities. His changing perspective suggests that the friendships in the house may be heading towards another reshuffle.
With Mahhi handling captaincy duties and several contestants questioning their loyalties, the house remains divided.
Precap: Rohit Shetty Confronts Aasif and Scout
Rohit Shetty arrives to host Weekend Ka Vaar and announces that he will be unfiltered.
He calls out Aasif for becoming aggressive repeatedly and warns Scout that massaging Love does not look good on screen. Scout attempts to defend himself, but Rohit stops him.
The upcoming episode promises direct confrontations as Rohit addresses the contestants’ behaviour.
Review
Mahhi’s captaincy win gives the episode a fresh direction, but managing the house proves difficult almost immediately. The cooking dispute shows how even routine responsibilities can become power struggles when contestants already have unresolved personal issues.
Yung and Amrapali’s growing disappointment with Scout is another significant development. Yung’s regret over choosing Scout instead of Aasif suggests that his loyalties are shifting, while Scout’s refusal to engage in their confrontation leaves their friendship in a precarious position.
Qazi’s celebration of his 21-year-old reality show victory adds a welcome personal moment, and his captaincy-task win gives him a reason to celebrate. Still, the episode’s most interesting thread is the changing group dynamic, with old alliances beginning to crack.
The precap raises expectations for Weekend Ka Vaar. Rohit Shetty’s criticism of Aasif and Scout could force both contestants to defend their behaviour and may further alter the house’s equations.
