Grown-up Ajabde misses Pratap dearly and yearns for his well-being in Post-leap Introduction

Pratap gets the flower herb for Dheer Bai and comes a bit late for Dusshera Puja celebrations at the temple. Jagmal speaks of the indifference being meted out at him by his mother Dheer Bai and suggests how come Pratap is favoured and respected much more by them.

Dheer Bai wants Jagmal to apologize to his elder brother Pratap though Pratap doesn’t wish that to happen and is fine with Jagmal’s brazen behavior. Dheer Bai informs her son Jagmal that he is nothing in front of Pratap which makes him more annoyed and leaves. Pratap gives the flower herb to Dheer Bai and speaks of his fondness and caring for his siblings. Pratap learns that he has to do Ravan Dahan as told by his father Udai Singh and Chakrapani is happy to hear it. Chakrapani also brings out the topic of missing Jaivantbai and Ajabde at the temple which makes Pratap angry since he doesn’t want to hear about Ajabde’s name.

Grown-up Ajabde is seen at her palace in Bijolia with ornaments – earrings and maang tikkas and waters the Tulsi plant which is a prayer and then prays to Suryadev wishing Pratap’s happiness and well-being. While, Pratap at his end remembers how his mother Jaivantbai left the palace and words of Dheer Bai which suggested that misfortunes have happened due to Ajabde. He laments on loving Ajabde since his beloved mother Jaivantbai has left and feels he lost everything and shows despair. Ajabde remembers how Pratap gave her special ring for her feet and also the last meeting with him near the temple when he spoke about his hatred for her. She then goes to remember Pratap more and misses him dearly and carries pain and longing on her face [Bas Tum Hi To…Dhara Gagan Mein.. Tum Hi To Ho.. Hriday Aur Mann mein to tum Hi To Ho.. song plays]. After a while, Ajabde learns that Afghani soldiers have attacked their province for second time and she needs some sort of intervention from Mewar and has decided to send a letter to Pratap and Udai Singh in that context.

While, Ajabde in any way has to stay away from Pratap until the end of Gauna custom (Gauna period lasts several years after marriage) since she had a child marriage but she stayed several years longing for Pratap and knowing well that he hates her. Now, its upto Udai Singh to decide the end of Gauna period so that she can come back to Mewar and performs the consummation of her marriage. Ajabde longing and endearing love is much alive and her heart beats a lot for Pratap.  Some of the Questions are, When would be possible for Ajabde to visit Mewar ? When will that Gauna period ends ? How Pratap would be able to reconcile with Ajabde and resolve their differences/misunderstandings ? Stay tuned to Maharana Pratap on Sony TV.
