Udne Ki Aasha 8th April 2025 Written Update: Sachin mocks Tejas. Today in Udne Ki Aasha, the episode opens on a surprisingly serious note – Sachin and Sayali having one of those heart-to-heart conversations that promise emotional depth but end up with Sachin acting like he’s protecting the nuclear codes. Sayali tries to gently prod him about his past — the very past that cost him his mother’s affection permanently. But of course, Sachin pulls the “some things are better left unsaid” card. Classic. If emotional intimacy were a school subject, Sachin would be the backbencher who just scraped through with grace marks.
Fast forward to the Deshmukh household where Sachin walks in and finds Sayali stuck in the kitchen battlefield. She’s multitasking like a pro — chopping onions while her own dreams probably sit on a back burner. Sachin, for a change, tries to be the woke husband, suggesting she focus on her business instead of domestic duties. Admirable effort, Sachin… except the universe (read: Renuka) isn’t having it.
Enter Renuka, the queen of unsolicited opinions and vintage bias. She storms in and lectures Sachin for “misguiding” Sayali. For her, Sayali isn’t just a wife — she’s a live-in maid whose first loyalty should be towards the kitchen, not her career. Renuka clearly believes in “traditional values,” as long as those traditions revolve around pampering her golden boy Tejas and his ever-demanding wife Roshni.
Right in front of Roshni (who, by the way, could be mistaken for a silent judge in a cooking reality show), Renuka orders Sayali to make food to match their gourmet desires. Sayali calmly responds that there are no vegetables in the house. Makes sense, right? You can’t whip up magic with empty shelves. Sachin, in a rare moment of standing up to the nonsense, tells Tejas to go fetch the groceries. But Renuka, once again donning her cape of double standards, defends her precious son. Thankfully, the ever-sensible Paresh lays down the law and tells Tejas to get moving.
Now here’s where the comedy gold strikes — Tejas returns, smug and confident, with four vegetables. Yep, four. He somehow manages to spend a small fortune on what can barely fill a pan. It’s not grocery shopping, it’s a luxury investment in cabbage and carrots. The whole house is left blinking in disbelief, and the laughter track practically writes itself. As if that wasn’t enough, the vegetable shop owner comes running with ₹300, apologizing for the overcharge. Turns out, even the shopkeeper has more integrity than Tejas has budgeting skills.
Sachin jumps at the chance to roast his brother (for once, we’re on his side) and mocks him with delight. Paresh, on the other hand, is fuming. If Tejas can’t handle a basic grocery run, how on Earth will he manage a business? Answer: He won’t. Not unless he’s running a boutique vegetable shop for the elite.
Amid all this chaos, Paresh tries to bring a little joy and asks Sachin to plan something for his wedding anniversary. But surprise, surprise — Sachin doesn’t even remember the date. Yup, the man who claims to love his wife more than anything forgets the very day they got hitched. Sayali, understandably, is hurt. She heads to her room, not in a dramatic soap opera way, but in that quiet, “I expected better” disappointment.
Sachin follows, trying to pacify her with his usual charm (or lack thereof). Sayali, in full nostalgic mode, asks about their first meeting — you know, the meet-cute that started it all. But Sachin’s memory is as reliable as Tejas’ math skills. He fumbles through her questions, clearly blanking out most of the early romantic details.
Now here comes the unexpected twist — Sayali reveals that her first few encounters with Sachin were, well… violent. She literally fell for him while watching him beat random strangers. From a distance, this sounds more like an action thriller than a romance. But hey, love is strange. Somehow, from street brawls to sweet confessions, Sayali’s heart found its home in this slightly damaged man.
Sachin, probably realizing he’s this close to sleeping on the couch, finally comes clean. He confesses his love, drops a few genuine lines, and manages to melt Sayali’s heart. Credit where it’s due — the guy might forget anniversaries, but his redemption game is strong. Sayali, who was ready to storm out a few minutes ago, now looks at him like he hung the stars in the sky. All is well (for now).
Just when the emotional clouds part, enter Shobha — Sayali’s mother — for what should’ve been a sweet visit. But of course, Renuka can’t let anyone breathe. She greets her with her signature disdain, embarrassing her in front of Sayali. The poor woman came to see her daughter, not get verbally punched by her in-laws.
And just when you think the drama’s over — boom! The precap promises more fireworks. Renuka once again targets Shobha, belittling her for her financial condition, pushing Sayali to the edge of her patience. From the looks of it, Sayali’s about to lose the calm daughter-in-law badge and give her saas a reality check.
